Wink

Wink, NIC Master, enjoys researching and creating various workshops that focus on skill building through deliberate practice (RID Views, Winter 2012). Presenting workshops the last five years at national conferences (NAD, RID, Silent Weekend) regional conferences (RID I, II, III, IV), state conferences, and local workshops across the nation has given Wink experiences to enhance applications for interpreters of all levels. Wink is widely noted for the comfortable atmosphere he creates and the passion he exudes. Currently Wink travels full time performing, presenting workshops, and managing Winkshop, Inc, through which he has developed a dozen training DVDs. A fun fact: in 2013 alone, Wink traveled professionally enough miles to circle the earth over three times. Michael Bothel

Michael Bothel has over twenty years’ experience as a professional certified ASL Interpreter. He has taught at Interpreter Training Programs in the state of Texas. Michael holds a degree in interpreting as well as an interdisciplinary degree with a focus on linguistics, deaf studies and business.

For the last 10 years Michael has worked at Sorenson Communications as a District Manager. He oversees the supervision of multiple VRS centers and provides trainings for new and existing managers on improving communication, analysis, and interpersonal skills.

Some of Michael’s previous workshops include topics on linguistics of deaf children, visual communication, ASL to English voicing as well as ASL Idioms.

Keith Wann

Known for his stand-up comedy and rapid popularity through the viral You Tube ASL video parody rendition of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” in 2006, Wann has been performing for over 20 years. As a hearing child of Deaf adults, Wann is an original breakthrough performing ASL artist and has been featured in several short films with ASL, currently stars in a popular ASL Children's book iTunes APP, and has done several commercials for Pepsi, appeared in Law and Order, and travels all over the country performing almost every weekend.  Check out his videos, over 250 on at www.youtube.com/codawann,
